EmilyBlips +1Ah ha, so this is the second Paterson Joseph confirmed story I've seen. This one sounds more convincing than the first :D I guess I haven't really seen him in much of anything else, so I'm not sure what to think. It's still hard for me to accept the fact that we won't have any more David Tennant : / -
empty Whilst I don't disbelieve that PJ is the choice, and am even happy and excited by the prospect, I don't see why this has not yet been made official. If the media are certain, and the bookies, and the fans, then it seems to be out of bag and every day that goes past is rather diluting the impact, surely? I'm sure the timing is not great, with the Next Doctor coming up, but previous Doctors' unveiling have been brought forward due to leaks and this is no different surely?

Rumor: New Doctor Who already cast?
Published 11/26/2008 by Dunc at Club Jade
Both Lying in the Gutters and SF Crowsnest are calling Eleven for Paterson Joseph, who has been considered a leading contender for the role. (He did play a bit part in Series 1, but as anyone who remembers Hercules and Xena will tell you, that rarely matters.)
Joseph is reportedly the favorite of new showrunner Steven Moffat, and would be the series’ first black Doctor.
